Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are vital to the success of NAMI’s operation and mission. If you have personal experience as a loved one, are a person in recovery, or have a strong interest or passion around mental health issues, we welcome your help in contributing to the important work that we do in our communities.

We can direct you to a particular area of interest that uses your unique talents so that you may have a meaningful volunteer experience. We offer training and ongoing support for our volunteers. There is usually minimal investment of time such as several times a year to a few hours a month depending on the volunteer position you choose. Volunteering is a great way to stay connected to NAMI for those who have taken our classes or been engaged in our support groups. We have various ongoing needs that may change from time.
